It's awards season and first up is the 75th Annual Emmy Awards. To enhance your award night celebrations, we have curated the perfect vodka cocktails inspired by a selection of this year’s Emmy-nominated shows. Grab a glass and get ready to enjoy these tasty TV pairings.

White Lotus

A Lychee Martini

This show calls for a tropical cocktail with a twist - the sophisticated Lychee Martini.

  • 2 oz. Yacht Life Vodka
  • 1 oz. Lychee Puree
  • 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
  • Ice

Add ice, vodka, lychee puree, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker. Shake hard for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe or martini glass and serve.

The Bloody Mabel

  • 1 tsp salt
  • Ice
  • 3/4 cup Spicy Tomato-Vegetable Juice Cocktail
  • 1.5 oz. Yacht Life Vodka
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 dash Mabel’s Hot Sauce
  • Salt and Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Toppings of choice (celery, olives, bacon, onions, and more)

Salt the rim of a tall glass. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients except the toppings. Shake for 20 seconds. Strain into glass. Garnish. The martini is a classic cocktail that exudes sophistication and elegance. Sip on this drink and raise a toast to the Roy family (or not!).

  • 2.5 oz. Yacht Life Vodka
  • ½ oz. Dry Vermouth
  • 1 drop of saline syrup (equal parts salt and water boiled until dissolved)
  • Olives for garnish
Wednesday

The Wednesday Shot

This quirky show deserves a drink that is just as unique. A gothic looking shot for Wednesday with a rainbow topping in honor of Enid is the perfect fit.

  • 1 oz. Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Yacht Life Vodka
  • 1 drop of Black Food Coloring
  • 1 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Whipped Cream
  • Rainbow Sprinkles

Combine 1 drop of food coloring and 1 oz of Vodka in a shot glass and mix. Add in coffee liqueur and bailey’s irish cream and then top with the whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.

Ted Lasso

Tea Time with the Boss

Ted Lasso has a positive attitude about most things - except tea. Perhaps this cocktail would change his mind and add a little excitement to ‘biscuits with the boss’.

  • 2 oz. Yacht Life Vodka
  • 6 oz. Sweet Tea
  • Ice
  • Sprig of Mint

Muddle mint leaves in the bottom of a glass and fill with ice. Add vodka and sweet tea. Garnish with more mint leaves and serve.

The Sundeck Spritz

Light, bright, and dangerously easy to drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Yacht Life Vodka
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz elderflower liqueur
  • Sparkling water
  • Lemon wheel + fresh mint

Directions

Add vodka, lemon juice, and elderflower liqueur over ice. Top with sparkling water and garnish with mint and lemon.

The Palm Beach Martini

A cleaner, citrus-forward martini with a coastal feel.

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 oz Yacht Life Vodka
  • 0.5 oz dry vermouth
  • Grapefruit peel
  • Olive or lemon twist

Directions:

Stir over ice until ice cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Express grapefruit peel over the top before serving.

Yacht Life Espresso Martini

Because some summer nights shouldn’t end early.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Yacht Life Vodka
  • 1 oz espresso
  • 0.75 oz coffee liqueur
  • 0.5 oz vanilla syrup

Directions:

Shake aggressively with ice until frothy. Strain into a coupe glass.
Optional: garnish with dark chocolate shavings or a few espresso beans.

The Mediterranean Mule

Fresh and made for hot weather.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Yacht Life Vodka
  • Ginger beer
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Basil leaves
  • Cucumber slices

Directions:

Muddle basil lightly. Add vodka and lime juice over ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with cucumber ribbons.

 

The Yacht Club Lemonade

Simple, Cold and Perfect.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Yacht Life Vodka
  • Fresh lemonade
  • Splash of sparkling water
  • Frozen strawberries or lemon slices

Directions:

Build over crushed ice and stir gently.
