Jsleep, The People’s Bartender resides in Houston, TX (Greenspoint stand up!!) and has been in the industry approximately a little over 3 years and has been exceptionally successful. Throughout his career, he has worked with Kevin Hart, The Rock, Houston Astros and Rockets and he has a close knit relationship with the University of Houston where he graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management and Restaurant Business. His foray into the world of hospitality began at Ritual where he met his mentors Mr Peter Clifton and Cody Northcutt. They gave him “the sauce” to be exactly who he is today. Under their supervision and training, he learned and mastered various techniques, styles, and methods that have allowed him to be a trusted face amongst bars not only in Houston, but throughout the nation. Jsleep has won various accolades including 2023 Rookie Bartender, 2023 People Choice, 2023 Mitcher’s Bourbon Top 4, 2023 Black Bourbon Society Top 4, Nyak Cognac’s International Director of Mixology and many more. At the same time he has helped to open and develop numerous successful concepts throughout Houston such as The Ultimate Kitchen and Crave Fusion Bistro, right along with training many other successful bartenders in the area. Sipping While Sailing

  • 1.5 oz Yacht Life Vodka
  • .5 oz Caribbean Mint Syrup
  • .5 oz Orange Liqueur
  • .75 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Champagne (Topper)

Glassware: 12oz Collins Glass

Garnishes: Mint, Lemon and Orange

Method: Adding all ingredients into a tin shaker (EXCEPT CHAMPAGNE), add ice and shake vigorously for 6-8 seconds. Double strain into a chilled Collins over ice and Orange and lemon wheels. Top with champagne and garnish with a healthy size Mint sprig.
